Through university scholarships for Indigenous and refugee women, academic support for girls living at Baan Sukhito, and life-skills workshops that build confidence and leadership, we address the root causes of exploitation while empowering the next generation of women leaders. Through vocational training for Indigenous and refugee women, interest-free loans that help graduates build their own businesses, and meaningful employment in ethical tourism, conservation, and traditional artisan crafts, we create sustainable livelihoods that reduce vulnerability to trafficking while strengthening local economies and preserving Indigenous culture. We invest in safety and stability at the most critical stages of a girl’s life. At Baan Sukhito, girls at risk of exploitation receive safe, supervised care alongside professional mental health support, tutoring, educational assistance, and enriching activities. Together, these interventions help girls recover from adversity, stay engaged in school, build confidence and resilience, and develop the foundation they need to pursue higher education and independent adulthood. We invest in stability when families need it most. Through our Emergency Aid Program, we provide food, medical assistance, clothing, hygiene supplies, and other essential support to refugees and internally displaced people affected by conflict in Myanmar. By meeting urgent needs during periods of extreme vulnerability, we help families protect their health and dignity, reduce the pressures that can lead to unsafe migration and exploitation, and help them begin rebuilding their lives.
