On June 16, tragedy struck when a young Karen family lost everything in a sudden electrical fire. While we are incredibly grateful that no lives were lost, the family’s home and all of their belongings were completely destroyed. They escaped with nothing but the clothes on their backs — including their four-month-old baby.
They are now facing unimaginable hardship as they try to rebuild their lives from scratch.
We are urgently seeking donations of new or gently used items, including:
Rice and non-perishable food
Clothing for adults and a 4-month-old baby
Toiletries and hygiene supplies
Blankets, pots, pans, and basic household items
In addition to physical items, financial donations are desperately needed to help them rebuild their home and secure daily necessities like food and shelter.
